Our office will refer you to the Thoracic Surgery School to help you prepare for your upcoming surgery. A pharmacist, physiotherapist and nurse will present information about your post-operative care and will answer any questions you may have. You are more than welcome to bring along a family member to the class, as we expect they will be a big part of your post-operative care as well. You can expect the class to be about 1.5 to 2 hrs long. The school and related assessments are covered by OHIP, hence we ask you to please bring your valid health card to the class. We also ask you to wear comfortable shoes.

Where?

This class is offered only at the Rehabilitation Department of Southlake Regional Health Centre which is in the East Entrance on the main floor. Classes are help at 1:00pm.
