F.A.Q.

Q.What are some symptoms I should watch for?

A.  Please do not hesitate to call our office if you are experiencing any excessive bleeding, wound discharge, swelling, difficulty breathing or swallowing, vomiting, or if you have a high fever and are suffering inescapable pain. Again, if you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to call.

If you are experiencing any of these problems and are not able to speak with someone in our office (ie. after business hours or on the weekend) and the problem is severe; please visit your local emergency room.

Any requirements for additional prescriptions or post-operative care should be sought from your family doctor. Mild discomfort and soreness can be expected for several weeks after surgery, as can minor sputum production or minor pussing at the wound.
