Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) is a minimally invasive procedure to assess digestive (gastrointestinal) diseases. A special endoscope uses high-frequency sound waves to produce detailed images of the lining and walls of your digestive tract.

This procedure is done by Dr. Ptak at Humber River Regional Hospital. His administrative assistant Anne, will contact you directly to schedule your test and will go through the instructions and preparation with you.
